I’ve been working in Raku this year, and I find that I love the clay body–so much grog; it feels very architectural. This lead me to begin handbuilding, making some sculptures based off the work of my prints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also have been experimenting with combining the two–as small-scale work, for now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, I also continued throwing on the wheel, and I began to make some forms and work with the glazes in a way I feel is very successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
