{"id":1470,"date":"2020-01-09T08:55:46","date_gmt":"2020-01-09T13:55:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thenextfewhours.com\/KH\/?p=1470"},"modified":"2021-10-20T16:00:21","modified_gmt":"2021-10-20T20:00:21","slug":"this-and-that-prints","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thenextfewhours.com\/KH\/this-and-that-prints\/","title":{"rendered":"This and That: Prints"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Just before this year&#8217;s start of Art Basel Miami Beach, my husband and I collaborated on a series of small prints, made specifically to sell at our friend <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomvirgin.com\/wp\/\">Tom Virgin<\/a>&#8216;s works-on-paper\/print sale.  His press is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.extravirginpress.com\/\">Extra Virgin Press<\/a>, located next door to the <a href=\"https:\/\/emersondorsch.com\/\">Emerson Dorsch<\/a> Gallery in Little Haiti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was fun working together, and pretty easy.  He prepared and made some solvent transfer runs, while I made screenprint or oil-based monoprint runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event didn&#8217;t seem to have much publicity, so it wasn&#8217;t highly attended, and we only ended up selling one of the works (to an old friend, which was nice!).
